Tea Petrović

Tea Petrović is a Sarajevo-based designer and artist whose practice spans sculptural footwear, objects, product and visual design.

She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, where her graduation project, Extended Ego, explored footwear as a sculptural and architectural form.

The project later became part of international exhibitions in Europe and the United States, including exhibitions at the Brooklyn Museum and The Museum at FIT in New York.

Her professional practice has since expanded beyond object design into art direction, product communication, branding, packaging, editorial design and digital visual systems.

Tea does not work within a single visual style. Each project begins with its own requirements, context and idea.

“I don’t think of design as a single visual style. Every project has its own language. Sometimes the right solution is highly structured and minimal. Sometimes it needs movement, imagery or a more expressive visual system. What remains consistent is the attention to form, proportion, hierarchy and detail.”

Tea is based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and works internationally with clients, studios and multidisciplinary teams.
